Hi,
I am Mark Gregorczyk and as you can probably tell, one of my hobbies is Genealogy.

My GGG Grandfather, Frank Grzegorczyk, came over in the Moczygemba induced Polish Immigration of 1854-1856.  He was one of the men who helped found the Panna Maria Catholic Church, the first Polish Catholic Church in America.

His son, John, was my great-grandfather Richard's dad.  Richard's son Tom was my grandfather, and his full name was Thomas Mark Gregorcyk, Sr..  (They had taken out the "z's" in the last name by this time.)  My dad, Tommy Gregorcyk, Jr., was his only son, and I continued the tradition as Thomas Mark Gregorczyk III.  Now I have a little boy, Thomas who, is the 4th!

When I started my genealogy research, instead of starting with myself and working back into time, I started with Frank Grzegorczyk and am working on tracing down all his descendants.  This could take a long time!  Since Frank was the only Gregorczyk family to immigrate to Texas up until at least 1920, I would venture to guess that just about all the Gregorcyks living in Texas today are probably related to me.  My earlier ancestors grew up in Karnes, DeWitt, Bee, San Patricio, and Live Oak Counties, so I have a lot of ground to cover.  At some point in the future, I hope to connect with family from Poland too.
